Oh yea knew I forgot one bank, I remember when I was posting it I thought something was missing. Well good to see CBA's advertising is effective.
Banks where horrible investments around the 1980's. Every sector must expand and contract, the only difference between sectors should be the time frame it takes to do this.
US data is a great way to see how this happens altogether and even as a whole the market is easily capable of going no where for 15 - 20yrs, let alone the individual sectors.
Banks have done well for the last 16yrs. It would be natural to see a long term period of consolidation now like what happened in the 1980's era. Certainly this is what all these charts are showing.
