The renewable project on KI has reduced diesel use by 65%. This is a relatively old project ( 7 years ) and uses no energy storage. Their smallest wind turbine if 750kw and the biggest is 1700mw. Tiny by today's standards.
Imagine how good it would be with bigger wind turbines and a decent amount of energy storage.
