Correction. Maybe QAN will make a profit by by getting rid of its baby!
I would love to see how much QAN has pumped into Jetstar from day 1 and even when Jetstar announces positive results, lets not forget that they have done this by dodging a fair number of costs by using QAN equipment, staf and services to make it flow.
Qantas has propped this baby up since birth and is still paying for lots of ancillary services. If Jetstar was a stand alone entity, it would have folded years ago IMO.
