problem is many don't "treasure" it. they think they are "entitled" to it. they believe they are entitled to have us go out to work each so they can collect their daily bread. more needs to be done to get people off it. some people simply refuse to work. sure they claim they only get the dole but bet your left one they have extra earners on the go.
