These people spend their money and pay GST - there would be a loss of revenue there - don't forget these people earn this money, have to take some risk, live under extraordinary pressure, their families often come second and they probably don't work 38 hours a week - but what does that matter in this country, if you have money we want it to give to those who don't like to take any risk, hate pressure, like to spend as much time with their families as they can and as a consequence find 38 hours a week work onerous.
Yep she's a great country all right, keep kicking those that produce something or provide jobs and the budget will only get worse. As Kerry Packer once said when asked if he goes out of his way to minimise paying tax "Of course I do because you guys have no idea how to manage and spend the money you get now, so why would I want to give your more" (or words to that effect)
