I don't think its wise to rush to judgement about this well until the operators themselves know how it is going to produce. We don't even know how much of the shale was perforated and fracced nor do we know what the eventual stabilised flow rate may be.
It could be better than expected it could be worse we just don't know. Shales don't normally decline that fast in the first year, but hey this is new dirt for the JV let's see what it produces.
The really good thing is that it produced at all!!!
