Yeh, I like 10 period ma on daily as a short term trend.

I know some seem to use 9!

Here is the average year for XAO since 1983 which is good for a rough seasonal. Haven't posted it for a while. I haven't entered today yet.

The yellow is this year and seems to still be doing what the 20 year cycle suggests with a slightly different pattern for the average year.

The red line average includes this year and since all years are weighted, suggests weaker than normal which is blue.
