    No I don't but would be a good exercise for someone :-).

    Locally we did have a SPI premium here yesterday and yet had an up day today.

    I suppose that could be counted as an unusual win for SPI, however it was a short for me from yesterday's close and then had to go long with the early action today.

    So still produced an overnight profit and a profit today.

    It is always hard to make long term studies into a few simple rules for those that don't study it.

    I know Treggs tracks the SPI prem/disc and I recommend it it others.

    It may be that more can be "juiced" from it that I have.

    I have always said that just looking at each day for whether it is a premium or discount is over simplifying.

    Like all indicators, you need to look at very long term history and observe what is normal in what environment.

    And like all indicators, placing complete faith in any one indicator is a recipe for a failure at some point.
