Keeping the great tradition of replaying a drawn grand final is fantastic. It increases the drama and makes a tight last quarter ever so more thrilling. No one wants a draw but they should get at least one more chance under full match conditions to determine the winner. Its half time and scores are level.

We should not follow the example of overseas games such as Rugby League, Union, baseball and Soccer that tries to determine the result of a whole years worth of effort in extra time.

Look at games like soccer the penalty shoot out is basically an admission that the game is flawed and not suitable for a finals series, people are already devaluing great events such as the world cup because it may end up in a roulette wheel.

People are very numb over the result but dont change to a lesser option already spoiling other codes.

    Regards RM
