As a long time supporter LNP especially at the Federal level (50/50 at the State level), I am very disappointed with Ms Bishop, as part from anything else, it just supports the low opinion the public has of its politicians. At her age and experience, she should have known better. However in the context of overall budget expenditure, it is the equivalent of petty cash.
However, I am disappointed that she didn't give me a ring before she caught the chopper, as I would have been more that happy to have taken her to Geelong for $500, with a cappuccino thrown in on our arrival. I would have considered it to be my civic duty!
