That's a very short term view of the JBM value proposition. imo the offer is a bit low ball. Has Xstrata ever delivered an opening knock out punch?
I still see heaps of value, particularly for big miner able to accelerate the resource development and production rampup. They"ll be looking at a 50+ ktpa longlife operation imo.
The low grade resource is a bonus.
