You mean how people forgot about Howard's work choices which he didn't take to an election and that the workers had got over it by the time the 2007 election came around... yeah right...lol
People don't forget when they get hurt and it seems that Gillard refuses to learn from Howard's mistake of not listening to the people near the end of his PMship and largely over work choices.
It's one thing for Gillard to carry on about the people needing "leadership" but this is supposed to be a democracy FOR the people, not AGAINST them. She speaks to Aussie voters as if they are foolish little souls in kindergarten.
Oh - and it's not Abbott that's scaring the people - it's Gillard all by herself. It's the almost daily news of the latest debacle that we see in the headlines. Gillard lack of respect by voters is entirely her own doing. Abbott simply give voice to the majority's opinions, imo...lol
