The entire market was different, then, so those valuations no longer apply. The market has entirely forgotten about fundamentals. The stock market at all time highs. If we were in a bubble in 2007, with the current weak fundamentals, how should we call the current stock market? The bubble of all bubbles? With the stimulation and currency wars going on, with the ongoing wars and threats of more wars around the world (Iran, North Korea...), terrorist acts in the Arab countries and in Boston etc. which should support gold, the metal has been manipulated down by the US gossip and the European bullies putting pressure on small players to sell their gold (Cyprus, Greece). I can only see one end to this mess and this is why I remain optimistic that gold will shine.
