And that's exactly why I don't agree with whaling. Humans haven't been able to do is sustainably in the past and with (generally) growing populations. How can we do it in the future? Best policy - ban it. I also think that fisheries need to be subject to more research (INDEPENDENT) and if required, regulated.
As for animals that are sustainable or can be farmed sustainably (and humanly) i.e. kangaroo, and free range (True free range none of this I saw 30mins of sunlight, so its free range shit), red wine etc. then I don't mind taking a piece of that action.
