    How about Taiwan? Population 24 million. Was one of the first countries after China to see covid cases. Did not lockdown. Their GDP growth this year on recent figures will be around 1.5%.

    No lockdowns but they took testing, contact tracing and in particular quarantining seriously. For those out and about face masks, social distancing and sanitisers at restaurant/shops front doors.

    Result: 514 cases 7 deaths.

    Taiwan should be the model we should at least have tried to follow. Only problem is the World Health Organisation, a subsidiary of the CCP, does not recognise Taiwan as a country...
