Not completely convinced as to the Lasseter story as there are a few holes in his account. The first being that the reef was on high ground and visible from some distance. The second hole, was that when he made it back to civilization he got to Laverton, but at that time Laverton did not exist.The specimens he had with him were extremely rich stone, nothing comparable has so far been found, but that is not to say that in the future the ABU exploration teams will not discover a simular bonanza. We all live in hope.
