Uni, I think Yemen would very much like to attract some majors to the game but that may not be easy given the majors gave up on Yemen. I think the majors would want to see political stability(is that possible in Yemen), the war over or contained to the north before considering re entry.
That said, Petsec is very well connected and could bring back Yemen old hands Occidental/Vintage and any assortment of US players. From Beibu Gulf it could possibly have discussions with CNOOC. That could be a good partner politically as those affiliated to Iran are not likely to attack facilities. I guess anything is possible and we should know who the party is likely to be in two months given discussions are already running.
