Maybe the company should invest in add-on hardware protection.
This technology has no inherent disincentive to hack compared to the old analogue technology where listening-in equipment involved a great deal of expense
The cost of equipment was a disincentive for the fiddlers to get involved into looking at a established operation even from a curiosity perspective.
Software as a security measure has to many options for failures either as poor programming errors or during updating the programs etc.
Maybe the company should invest in add-on hardware protection....
