well purpose?

Maybe someone with a bit of tech knowledge can explain to me what this well is all about . From the ann on May 27 AWE state that "at the conclusion of drilling ,this well will be cased & suspended for use as a possible future gas injection well" I assumed from this that ( in pure laymans vocab) they would bung a hole down to the outer edge of the existing field , so that they could stick some gas down to improve the flow from the producing tui wells when it slowed up .Now I'm sure a techy can pretty it up a little but is my understanding basically correct? If by some fluke I am am correct then I would'nt expect very much change in share price at all as its not really a discovery I guess
