Pirelli's wouldnt be mucking around with ARR if they werent confident in them being around for a bit longer yet.
I have been trained up in multiplexing and if ARR can refine carrier wavelengths further, and with Pirelli's backing, this will have massive consequences in the communications industry. Its a simple way to double/quadruple/etc etc etc profits, just by wacking an enhanced tunable laser each end.
Have actually had them on the watchlist since they had their Laser TV launch, but am more interested in what the new technology will mean to the comms game now.
Having said that I have held off on buying a LCD/Plasma purely to see how things pan out on the laser front, and looks like we wont have much longer to wait.
