It's not totally done and dusted until they reach 90% or OBS is removed from trading on ASX.
I sold my remaining shares on the market the other day and foolishly sold the bulk at 60cents, as I wanted to move on with my money and couldn't put up with the games that were being played.
A lot of money spent employing consultants to defend the take-over to little avail. IMO it could have been handled better. They should have just proceeded with the rights issue at 60cents that was overwhelmingly approved by shareholders.
Here are the votes from the November meeting.
#5 ‐ Approval of Rights Issue 119,476,177 9,545,655 40,218,196 155,889
That is 119,476,177 (For) and just 9,545,655 (Against).
If that isn't an endorsement to walk away from the offer by going ahead with the rights issue, what is? DGR just really didn't have any options that I could see. No money to participate and that probably sealed the deal for everyone in the end. Pity.
