Their plans to sell their gas into the East Coast got smashed, because everyone changed the rules, and pricing, on the NT Pipeline project.
So M/D Cottee again does what he does best.
He SELLS the CTP story!
He did time and again with QGC.

If no one knows the good story relating to EGO, then the market simply presumes the worst.
If you ask brokers about EGO, they still think it is a dog, and recall the bad old days.
ERM change in control was supposed to breath fresh air and hope into EGO.
It has failed.

Since that change, the only positive story we got out of EGO, was the very detailed summaries we got from the since-retired interim CEO. When he went, ---> silence followed.

It is not a matter of only releasing info when it is legally required by ASX or ASIC.
It is about selling the story.
If EGO is undervalued, or has un-recognised potential etc, promote the crappers out of that good story.

A low SP does no one any favours.

Media were telling us EGO was sniffing around Origin assets.
Supposedly those assets are worth $150m - $300m.
Whats the m/C of EGO? what $30m??
So the mkt will say "what the hell is a $30m coy doing looking at a $300m acquisition?"
They will rightly say "just how big a CR would EGO need to do? what would the resultant EGO look like? Just how hugely would my holding be diluted?"

So EGO needs to just let the mkt know what it is planning.
Keep us informed about the prospects of remediation if it is good. Silence is presumed to be poor outcome.
Why keep fact ERM loan repaid a secret?? If it was a good deal that repaid - tell us!
What the heck is happening with blue-sky Lockyer? Waitsia is now producing!!! We are right next door!!!!
So bloody-well promote that to the market!

Just like CTP does !!

Sell the story of the company -- and you will sell the story of the SP!

somebody, please get off your bum, do some leg-work, and promote the story of EGO.
