For anyone who understands geology and the lay of the land, this news is potentially massive, and here is why:-

Remember SOC initially estimated they have a 4 - 5 pipe system between Hobbs Pipe 1 and Hobbs SE, which are all expected to connect at some depth and are around 5-600m apart.

GHD006 is angled towards Hobbs SE and is huge that they are encountering high grade visible gold and likely the same continuos mineralisation the entire strike. This gives huge evidence to suggest they are correct in saying 4 - 5 more pipes in that direction, as we know Hobbs SE outcrops and exists.

3DIP will confirm this very shortly.

But what is more important, is the direction of GHD007 was never included in their original conceptual target (the image that showed 5 pipes was from Hobbs Pipe 1 to Hobbs SE).

Looks to me like they have located some historical drilling that shows that in the direction of GHD007, from surface to around 130m there is gold mineralisation, similar to what they drilled through on the outskirts of the pipe when drilling hole GHD004. If they are encountering similar mineralisation here as they did on the skirt of the pipe with GHD004, it is a huge hint that they could be drilling toward another pipe in the direction of GHD007.

If the entire area is still mineralised between the pipes at 0.6g/t then it can very well be blended into a huge open cut operation. SOC may very well have 4 - 5 pipes of solid mineralised gold, still with economic ore of around 0.6g/t that connects all the pipes. This would equate to a multi Moz open cut operation alone.

People should start taking note of the geo's comments: We interpret the lengthy skarn intercept as indicating that we a skirting the edge of a major gold deposit. Skarns are commonly seen proximal to some of the largest gold and copper deposits known, including at Cadia Valley (operated by Newcrest), Grasberg (Ertsberg) in PNG, and Red Dome (North QLD).

Remember this is an entirely new discovery, outside the 4 - 5 pipes they believe to exists between Hobbs Pipe 1 and Hobbs S/E.

Very easy to see why this has the potential to become another Cadia
