A standard legal tactic to instigate action against every possible entity that has ever had anything to do with what you are disputing. They are attempting all sorts of grabs in the attempt to get anything.

If you have a great case against an entity you go directly for that rather than waste a lot of time and money suing all and sundry for just about anything you can think of - as suing too many entities means you will almost certainly lose some and have costs awarded against you for them, i addition to the amount of time it wastes.

Just my opinion. Take your punt if you wish though I suggest you try to free carry so you don't lose any of your hard-earned on these jokers.
