True wiza - Thucydidies' Athens was just like the modern company. In theory the company is a democracy where the shareholders elect the directors of the company but in reality Boards are self perpetuating oligarchies each with a first citizen (or two). When was the last time there was a genuine contested contest for Board positions - Solly and Coles??

Let's hope Compass's two new appointments are up to speed.
