They'll smash everyone this budget, make everyone pay more, then they have 2 more years to gradually make things better before offering all sorts of sweeteners to try and get re-elected in about 2 and a bit years time.
It's all part of the normal 3yr cycle of a Federal government.
Year 1 dish out the pain Year 2 consolidate and work through things steadily Year 3 bribe the punters and try and slag off the other side as hard as possible
