I take your point, however I thought Bluegen and its ilk were supposed to take pressure of the main grid and feed back unused to the grid. Hot water is still neede where ever you live so the heat wouldn`t be wasted, in fact the need for a solar HW system could be avoided.
What has me more concerned is the reason that CFU gave for the output of systems installed and the output achieved not matching the 1.5kw optimum, and being more like 1kw per Bluegen. The company needs to explain what is happening here in more detail. I have posted the reply I received on this question, so if you are interested have a look. I don`t often post so it shouldn`t be too hard to find.
