Hasn,t Comalco now riotinto being shipping bauxite from Weipa to Gladstone thru the reef for fifty years .Isn't Weipa still atoned to the north queensland wet season . Isn't there an explansion of Weipa going on as well as other small bauxite miners starting to mine on cape York e.g. metro mining and metal x . In the wake of the panama disease in the bananas bauxite would be a better option for Innisfail .Its bananas also gets flogged by cyclones most years .hasn't Lakeland on the cape starting to become the banana centre .
