Even, If say you have over half a million to invest, seeking a financial advisor is prudent.
AMP hasn't dropped because of loss of interest in financial advice. They've dropped because of their scandal, and are somewhat stabilizing now.
I think there's a salient point about rebuilding the trust in the industry though. The AMP scandal and a few smaller ones have degraded the general trust, and they need a few good years to build back some goodwill.
