2007 and 2008 were booming time for resource sectors and old economies.
In US and Euro, the booming mainly was in house and financial sectors. BRIC industrialization are in the scope of the old economy.
So far only in a very short term, DOW has been moved in the channel set by IT busts.
In global scope, the booming in 2007, was far from the mania. The financial crisis stopped the resource and old economy booming in premature and significant delay the red hot stage of the booming.
I am not familiar with Biotech sector. If anyone has words about this sector would be grateful. However I do feel biotech seems at a turning points from its dismal status in the last two years.
