I like your system of assessing the miners, too bad I have little spare time for such endeavour, but in all fairness, I'm getting A LOT out of the banter on Hot Copper.
Wish I'd joined it much earlier.
Overall I'm in the red some 16+% with my shares... 80 to 105% with my silver shares but I did WELL with gold shares to break the overall down to 16+% (More $$$ in gold than in silver shares)
Does it matter? Probably not. We've been stacking PM's for about 8 years now, I think, here and overseas. And the shares involvement is small in comparison.
I physical PM's it's heavily weighted towards silver. We'll keep buying silver as long as it's below $40 oz -- depending on available funds.
