    Another great Beef Central article. This one highlights:

    1. The very large arbitrage between the prices producers can achieve in Brazil versus live exporting to the rest of the world (which is why Wellard's two largest ships are active on this route)

    2. The relative high cost of feeding cattle in Australia (2x feed cost, and 5x labour cost)

    Like every other industry on the planet, the raw material will find its way on ships to the lower cost producers.
