Wellard doesn't feed cattle in Australia and pays most of its workers global shipping wage rates. Wellard takes cattle from Australia at a young age and transports them to places like Indonesia where they can be fattened on cheaper crops / grains and processed with cheaper labour. Wellard is a beneficiary of Australia's high feeding and labour costs.
