While on the subject:
Hello all,
I have sent the following message to ASF late yesterday.
I believe we need to stake our claim to these records if for no other reason than a homage to members who posted and are no longer with us.
Please help me with suggestions how we can go about it in effective way, eg can we set up a web page into which these records can be downloaded or other?
Thank you in advance,

Good evening Joe,

You have been suspended for the following reason:
Defamation Date the suspension will be lifted: Never
This is to underpin the message I left earlier today on Administrator’s
Message page.
I confirm receipt of your last message left via that page.
This is to remind you that ASF has a Statutory Obligation to maintain
and safeguard all contents of the suspended PIF Wellingon/Octaviar thread, including deleted posts.
This is a requirement provided by Records Maintenance Act and Statute of Limitations Provisions; the basics of which I am certain you are well aware of.
Following are excerpts from these Guidelines:
“ Documents relevant to legal proceedings
All documents potentially relevant to any litigation which has been commenced,
or it is anticipated may be commenced, must be retained.
A person who destroys documents which are known to be relevant to court proceedings,
which are already on foot, is likely to be liable for contempt of court or attempting
to pervert the course of justice, both of which are serious criminal offences.
The Courts have extended this approach to destruction of documents
where proceedings are anticipated but have not yet been commenced.”
