they are an investment vehicle, therefore (I'm assuming) they would have technical rules by which they have to abide as set out in their investment charter. They cannot hang onto stock just because one of the analyst has a hunch a) or b) is going to happen , they would have clear metrics that would influence their buy\sell actions.
i.e. if you invested via Wellington how would you feel if they got into KAR at ~2 then sat their and watched it go all the way to 12 and back to 6 again without taking anything off the table ?? I'd be pi$$ed hard and probably pull all my FUM out
