It gives you a good idea of the well locations of Defender, SOA, London Flats, Stars & Stripes etc.. Interestingly there is a well (BZR FRMTH #1) that was drilled about 500 meters to the south-east of Defender by a company named Batzer HO in 1956. It was drilled to a total depth of 8180 feet and ended up being a dry hole. Seems they didn't drill deep enough :)
A bit further down from Defender can see where Chesapeake have the State wells.
About 200km's down from Goshen you can see the green and yellow blog of producing/permitted oil wells in the Wattenberg field in Weld County.
I hope the acreage SSN holds in Goshen looks something like this in the future.
