Apparently not. At least not all. Todays news. (News must be scarce.)
"New York's public bathrooms are about to change in a way that'll have mums and dads cheering.A new law in the US city requires all new or renovated buildings with publicly available restrooms to have baby changing tables in both the women's and men's facilities, with signs clearly marking their presence.Businesses, including restaurants, stores and cinemas, and state facilities are also covered by the legislation, which came into effect on New Year's Day.The bill states there must be at least one changing table that both genders can make use of on each public accessible floor."
I recently built a Garden Centre. It had to have a large sized disabled toilet. There had to be a back rest on the seat $350. There had to be a sign in braille at the door that said which way the door opened $147. It had to have a lidded stainless steel disposal bin $150. It had to have a "sharps" disposal bin, certified waterproofed wall ( $375 for a licenced certifier to say that the licenced builder had done the job correctly). And that was only the toilet facilities. Add car parking $50,000. Storm water management. Numerous "contributions" thought up by the council.
I'll bet they would now want a baby change room as well.
