The continued incarceration of children, the continued exposure of helpless asylum seekers to mortal danger on Manus Island, no resolution of Resa Barati's death there, the foisting of asylum seekers onto one of the poorest countries in the world, Cambodia and now cutting off legal means for asylum seekers in Indonesia to get onto a queue (where there was no queue to get into in their own country from which they fled) for Australia.....all this beggars belief that Australians could accept such unconscionable and downright criminal behaviour from a government that ostensibly represents them.

Surely Australians are better than this?
