Will be interesting to see if GLN can sort the processing technology.
Do they have their own Pablo?
Something I have found hard to evaluate with AGY is to answer the question "is Pablo truly unique?"
Roll forward 5 years and try to predict where AGY will rank amongst its peers.
If Pablo is unique then...IMO
- It doesn't matter if your brine resource and ponds are the biggest, if you can process it, you can't sell it.
- Who will have the highest grades?
- Cost of production will be key. Over the next 5 years (maybe 7 years), I don't think cost of production will matter too much as demand will out strip supply and average prices per tonne will easily cover production costs. However, once the market matures and supply balances with demand the low cost producers will win out. You only need to look at the gold and iron ore industry to see this at work.
