What may help the trap close, is the current breed of upgraders, who have snapped up bargains or tried to catch a falling knife, not sure which yet, may well have to sell their existing property in a hurry in order to settle. Have seen this pressure affect a couple of upgraders i know recently. This is something the market has not really had to cope with for a long time, and may result in some distressed sales in the coming months.
