I am starting to suspect that ERJ have received the box and simply dont know how to install it properly and just dont want to admit they can't do it.
If this is the case they need to get some Swede's out here pronto to show them how to put it together.
We know the technology works and sure the Australian heat could be an issue.However if the heat is a problem then there must be a logical work around.
Reminds me of when I bought something from Ikea once and had trouble putting it together as the instructions were just crap.
