cp imo wes is doing the very smart thing by not listening to analysts/brokers who say wes need to make an acquisition to replace businesses sold, such logic can only come from analysts/brokers,i feel confident enough in wes management that they will purchase a business when they feel there is value in the business what ever the sector, imo a bit like the tls pacnet purchase.
imo there will be some great opportunities shortly and as a shareholder i want wes to be in the position to take advantage of those/a opportunity as management feel reasonable.
ps imo no question wes is getting into banking, same wow,but the banking business model is changing and they i guess are trying to understand the new banking business model as it develops .
I repeat ceo anz after a trip to US said new banking technology terrifying.
everyone can make up their own minds regarding future banking business models.
