Wesfarmers is at odds with the Coalition over its refusal to back legislation aimed at delivering billions of dollars in production tax credits to Australia’s critical minerals sector.
So if i got this right the same day 25/11/2024 that Wesfarmers is critical of Government policy not providing tax credits at this time, Wesfarmers is given notice by Department of Mines to forfeiture of tenement M77/1o80 (Earl Grey Deposit) for not paying State Royalties on Lithium Production.
I understand mining companies owe a duty of some sort to exploit all minerals within a tenement (Gold) included as it generates royalties to State Governments for the benefit of tax payers.
