i agree with your sentiment wholeheartedly- if and when the UK deal goes pearshaped which seems to be the case, then as you say-' oh Lordly'!
the only reason that the SP is advancing is because 'big money' thinks that there is upside potential of Coles same store sales improving, as they think there is no more price discounting to come from Woolies.
that's a very big call, almost a gamble.
ps- if you have been fortunate enough to ride the false wave of enthusiasm, check and reset your stop losses as this simple task will earn you much more than a retiree's 7.5% 'dream'
