Aside from short term stuff like capital returns, I still fail to see how WES can have a sustained upward share price move from here due to its extreme PE - it's going to take either:
- New buyers to have the balls to keep paying such a high forward PE and for earnings to increase; or
- A substantial increase in earnings to bring that forward PE down AND justify a higher share price.
If it wasn't for capital gains tax... I would probably prefer to have money in a term deposit than the downside risk on WES at the moment... considering I just don't see any significant upside potential.
