I’d like to take the opportunity to assure you that Wesfarmers is commercially motivated and will continue to evaluate opportunities (including gold) that might be available at Mt Holland.
Please excuse my ignorance but im not sure what that means above highlighted ? Will continue to evaluate opportunities (including gold) - i havent seen any ASX ann by WES about the gold being evaluated or considered and what potential shareholder value it could present to shareholders. Only reason i ask is that IMO i understand WES paid about $776 million for the project and has 1.2 million ounces of gold in it per previous KDR ASX ann which if commercialized has the potential that WES got the Li for free ?? Now that would be a great thing to see the gold commercialized and create significant shareholder return IMO !!
