To be fair, I’m sure Scott wasn’t counting on the way the China-US trade negations have derailed so much after almost looking like it was a done deal...to the point where rare earths have become a huge bargaining chip.
I’m sure with perfect hindsight, he would have sharpened his pencil a little more, and had less conditions at the time they made their bid.
Maybe now he just lays low and waits for some sort of trade deal before making a move.
