    This scenario is being played out all over Australia. The bad news is that over the last month (April) it almost certainly went backwards.

    From your post it is not clear if this is a super fund or you are already living off it. If it is your super fund it is large enough for you to consider running your own fund.

    It will cost you between $500-1000 to set up the fund and around $1500 in audit fees per year. You need to keep good records but nothing onerous.

    Put your money into seven blue chips with a 10% stop loss. Do you think you can beat Westpac?
