    i wouldnt approve that discount as a shareholder.

    If Paterson indeed values this company at $5.45, then they should not have a problem with paying a premium to the current share price - and put their money where their mouth is.

    A chunk that size should come at a premium.
    Even a $3 price is in fact a discount to their valuation - so they should not have a problem with it.
