To help decrease the likelihood that topwon's worries will materialize (i.e., that institutional investors may sell off in the short term to make a quick profit) and to limit the negative impact in case this should happen, Lynas should have taken the required legal steps to "spread the wealth" and make this "1 for 1" offer to non-AUS/NZ retail stockholders as well -- but they don't appear to have the necessary foresight and this decision to discriminate may well backfire on them.
